Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were very basic, falling short of the expected 4-star quality. My wife and I had an uncomfortable experience due to noise from adjacent guests. The rooms were not very clean and could benefit from modern updates like USB charge sockets and newer bathroom amenities.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious but really outdated, in need of some modernization like replacing the ISDN sockets with USB charge sockets. The bathroom hairdryers were quite aged, and the room had unnecessary furniture that made it feel cluttered.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were spacious and clean, with a nice big bathtub, perfect for relaxing. The hotel is far enough away from Koblenz to enjoy the natural setting, yet close enough to easily drive into the city. The dining experience was absolutely fantastic with a superb selection of continental and fried offerings.
The hotel offers very spacious rooms that could benefit from some restoration and are a bit pricy. However, the rooms are cleaned meticulously by Kathrine Groß, and some newer rooms are available. Service was a mix of very rude behavior and friendly and supportive staff. The location, on a hill in the middle of a forest, is nice, especially the upper rooms with views of the Rhine. The dining experience was of reasonable quality with eclectic British dishes.
The hotel rooms were marketed as being comfortable with a range of amenities, hitting a 5-star standard which was nice. However, they could do with a slight modernization by updating sockets and shower screens. The service was initially rude and unprofessional, but improved during our stay. The location, although crowded and noisy at times, offered great views over the surrounding countryside. The dining options were varied but sometimes lacked in refill, and the facilities were generally good.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had a balcony with an amazing view of the area. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout, but at times, they seemed a bit overwhelmed. The location was the standout feature for me, close to all the nice sites to see and set in a peaceful wooded area. However, the dining experience was extremely poor, with limited choices and poor quality. Despite that, the facilities were top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, but they could use a fresh coat of paint and some modern upgrades like USB charge sockets instead of ISDN sockets. The bathroom amenities were a bit outdated. Unfortunately, there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
The hotel's location offers beautiful views of the mountains and sunsets, and the upper rooms provide a nice experience. However, it is far from attractions and located in a quiet dead-end area.
The hotel is nestled on a hill in the middle of a forest close to Koblenz, offering a unique location. The rooms are spacious with two single beds pushed together but lack storage space like a wardrobe. The service was friendly and professional, despite some challenges during busy times. The dining experience was varied but affected by breakfast slot availability. Facilities are decent, although some areas might need improvement.
The hotel promised a superior 4-star experience but fell short, not even reaching a 3-star level. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, meeting a high standard. However, the service was a major letdown during Christmas, with unprofessional behavior. The location offered some beautiful views but had drawbacks like noise and limited services. The dining experience was hit or miss, with an impressive buffet but some disappointing aspects. Overall, the facilities were decent, but the price may not align with the value provided.
